Feedback Forms

Instead of writing full sentences, it can be useful to have pre-determined criteria which you can share with the pupil in advance of their working. They can then use this as a to-do list of things to ensure they do. When marking, you will just need to tick the boxes that apply.

  • Quicker than writing long comments
  • Good for milestone marking: pupils are reminded of the things they should be able to do
  • Not fully flexible: any deviation from the structure means you have to write in full again
  • Requires advance planning
  • Requires a little time to stick into their books (or for pupils to do this themselves)
