Make your marking more meaningful and manageable

Marking is one of the key responsibilities of a teacher and needs to be done well. Good teachers know that we need to mark properly in order to be able to teach properly, and they also understand the significant benefits that come with effective assessment and feedback.

Marking does have a big down-side though: the amount of time it consumes. A class set of books can easily take an hour, and if you have 6 sets to mark per week, that's the PPA time used up before any of the next lessons are planned.
